Who can apply?

The grant is available to:

• Businesses across all sectors
• Farms and agricultural enterprises

Grant amounts (as of 2025)

• 1kWp: €900
• 2kWp: €1,800
• 3kWp: €2,100
• 4kWp: €2,400
• 5–6kWp: €2,400
• 7–20kWp: €300 per kWp
• 21–200kWp: €200 per kWp
• 201–1000kWp: €150 per kWp (maximum grant value €162,600)

1. Go to the SEAI Portal at mgen.seai.ie
2. Register an Account as a Business Applicant
3. Create a New Application with your MPRN
4. Enter Address and Installation Details
5. Enter Payment Details
6. Apply to ESB Networks (NC6, NC7, or NC8)
7. Install Your Solar PV System
8. Submit Installation Documentation
9. Receive Your Grant Payment
