These terms govern your use of the Lumen Solar website (lumensolar.ie) and the services provided by Lumen Solar, a solar PV installation company registered in Ireland, based at Blyry Business & Commercial Park, Athlone, Co. Westmeath, N37 EC93.

The information on this website is provided for general information purposes. While we make every effort to keep it accurate and up to date, we make no guarantees about the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any information on this site.

Solar system performance estimates, savings projections, and grant amounts referenced on this site are indicative. Actual results depend on your specific property, usage, and current grant schemes.

3. Quotations

Quotations provided through this website or following a site survey are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. A quotation becomes a binding agreement only when accepted in writing by both parties. All prices include VAT at the applicable rate.

4. Installation Services

All installations are carried out by SEAI registered and Safe Electric certified electricians.
Installation dates are agreed in advance and we will notify you of any changes as soon as possible.
The customer is responsible for ensuring clear access to the installation area (roof, fuse board, etc.).
We carry full public liability insurance and employer's liability insurance.

5. Warranties

Solar panel and equipment warranties are provided by the respective manufacturers. Typical warranty periods are:

Solar panels: 25-year product and performance warranty
Inverters: 10–12 year warranty (varies by manufacturer)
Batteries: 10-year warranty (varies by manufacturer)
Workmanship: Lumen Solar provides a 2-year workmanship warranty covering installation quality

6. Grants

Lumen Solar assists with SEAI and TAMS grant applications but cannot guarantee grant approval. Grant amounts and eligibility criteria are set by SEAI and the Department of Agriculture, and may change without notice. We will always advise you of the current grant position before you commit.

7. Payment

Payment terms are specified in your individual quotation. A deposit may be required to confirm your installation date. The balance is due on completion of installation. We accept bank transfer and other methods as agreed.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel an agreed installation with at least 7 days' notice at no charge. Cancellations with less than 7 days' notice may incur a cancellation fee to cover materials already ordered. This does not affect your statutory cooling-off rights for contracts agreed off-premises.

9. Limitation of Liability

Lumen Solar is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of this website or our services, except where required by Irish law. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the contract value of the installation in question.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — text, images, design, and logos — is the property of Lumen Solar and may not be reproduced without our written permission.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
